What Causes Heat Index Of 120-130 Degrees When Diagnosed With Septal Hypokinesis?
In april of this year I was diagnosed with septal hypokinesis and a LVEF of 39%. My current job has a METS rating of 7.5-8 and is classified as very heavy work under OSHA guidelines. All of this is done in an area with a heat index of 120-130 degrees with some days higher. I also see very few 8 hour days under these conditions with most weeks well over 55 hours a week. My current cardiologist refuses to put me under any restrictions to help alleviate the problems I am having in dealing with these conditions. My employer will relocate me to another position if my cardiologist would just sign the paperwork. What can I do here to reduce stress on my heart?
At these lab findings you must follow your cardiologist, you definitely need rest and all prescribed medication as well. Few deep breaths in between work will help to elevate LVEF [reduce stress also] along with medication [take care if BP, dizziness, breathlessness, blue nails and lips; immediately report at a hospital]. He must have your ECG and echocardiography done periodically. One generalized study show that meditation of art of living online has very good effect on LVEF and overall CVS or heart] you can join it.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
