What Causes Heated Burning Feeling In Chest And Discomfort In Lungs?

Sometimes (randomly) I feel asif air would pump out of my lungs, and hear the same noise as if there were air in my digestive system. And then after that I feel some sort of heat wave burning in my chest in the center, and moving to my neck. When I get that, I have a reaction to just keep blowing out wind what is it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

I would recommend a chest X-ray but also a check on on your digestive system with the help of an upper GI endoscopy. This will help in ruling out some conditions that can cause abdominal bloating or increased gas production like gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, etc. But you could try drinking plenty of water, eating right, eating regularly, avoid smoking and avoid alcohol, avoid overeating, avoid stress and just wait for your doctor to diagnose you.

Best wishes.
