What Causes Heaviness And Numbness On The Right Side Of The Face?
hi,i have been facing the heaviness/numbness in my right side of my face. I did MRI of brain and also neck. Found no abnormalities in brain but in neck there was a bulge and doctor told its Cervical Nerve problem. i have been taking ayurvedic treatment from day one and its been 45 days but dont see any significant improvement in terms of facial heaviness/numbness. Plz suggest me how to proceed further to get back to normal?
This is mostly caused by slipped disc. A slipped disk (also called a herniated disk) happens when a disk between the bones of the spine bulges and presses on nerves. Resistant cases of herniated disc not responding to medicines require surgery. Advice 1. Methylcobalamin 500 mcg once daily per oral for 3 months 4. Tablet Tryptomer 10 mg (Amitryptyline) orally at bed time for 30 days 2. Consult a physiotherapist for exercise 3. Consult a neurosurgeon for follow up management Thanks
