What Causes Heaviness In Chest, Throat Pain And Fatigue?
I recently had an echo cardiagram as I am experiencing chest heaviness pain travels to my throat, fatigue. Results were they said it was fine...however, still feeling the same, they suggested nexxium and I am taking it now but sometimes the symptoms come back more severe than at other times. I thought that they were gone after a few doses of the nexxium but when I am doing some exertion they return slightly. What is going on? I usually have mounds of energy non stop. I have to sit every few minutes while cleaning? Should I be worried. I am really watching what I am eating since I noticed that sugar is bothering me, certain foods etc. so I am very careful not
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of heaviness in chest, throat pain and fatigue, the symptoms you mention in query are indicating start of throat infection. It can occur both due to viral or bacterial infection commonly it occur due to viral infection accompanied by flu like symptoms as you mention . I would suggest you to do gargles with warm saline water , drink plenty of fluid to keep yourself hydrated , take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and inflammation and take over the counter antihistamine like benadryl. Usually virus complete its course , so drugs are given to relief symptoms . If symptoms persist or get worse then yo should consult ENT specialist for proper examination and to rule out conditions like acid reflux and bacterial infection . Doctor may order blood test or throat swab test to confirm diagnosis . He/she may prescribe decongestants , antibiotics/antiviral depending upon your condition .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
