hi I am having problems like heavy head, mild cough ,swelling of body ,sensitive to cold, no facial hair, decrease in memory power ,growth problem since 6 years .I am now 24 years old. I was diagonised as subclinical hypothyroid with tsh level 100.I am taking thyronorm of 75 mg .now my tsg level in normal range but still have same problem. what might be the reason? plz help
It is the level of symptoms which is important when a person is on thyroid hormone supplements. If the symptoms are improving to some extent say about more than 20-30% after a therapy of period of 1 or 2 months, that sounds clinical response. If there is absolutely no improvement to the medication and normal TSH level, additional options of diagnosis or management guidelines have to be considered on priority basis.
