General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is the level of symptoms which is important when a person is on thyroid hormone supplements. If the symptoms are improving to some extent say about more than 20-30% after a therapy of period of 1 or 2 months, that sounds clinical response. If there is absolutely no improvement to the medication and normal TSH level, additional options of diagnosis or management guidelines have to be considered on priority basis.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
