General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
First I would like to ask ,wether you have complain of constipation also?Since in diabetes gastroparesis can occur which is actually a condition in which autonomic system of GIT (gastrointestinal tract) is disturbed sometime due to uncontrolled blood sugar level or sometime with out any cause. For that light meal is advised.Eating in small 6 portions of meals in whole day and avoiding complex carbohydrates like oats, rice, brown bread and any food which takes longer to digest might help to decrease these symptoms.
Hopefully my answer will be helpful, you may ask further anytime ,if you have more questions to ask.
Regards,
Dr.Maheshwari
