General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It might be due to a minor upper respiratory tract infection.

Consult a general practitioner and start a short course of antibiotics preferably Amoxiclav. Do warm saline gargles and drink plenty of water.

Nothing much to worry and your symptoms will settle in a couple of days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
