hi post stenting patient is giiven high doses of statins, the most comon side effect of statin is severe myopathy,Myopathy is a muscular disease in which the muscle fibers do not function for any one of many reasons, resulting in muscular weakness. Most likely your symptoms are attributed to statin induced myopathy , you can consult your primary cardiologist to reduce the doses of statin or switch over to other statin for few days . serum cpk creatine phosphokinase levels should be meaured, as they are often allivated in case of myopathy. thanks
