What Causes Heavy Bleeding, Cramping And Back Pain During Pregnancy?

Hi , I am 7 weeks pregnant, I went to the hospital 6 days ago with heavy bleeding, cramping and back pain.. I am still bleeding almost a week later.. The tested my HCG levels and they are rising ! I have to wait until next week for an ultrasound... Wondering could it still be a miscarriage or what else could be causing this !? Also they checked my cervix and it is closed but can see blood surrounding it ... Please any advice

I am bit suprised that ultrasound could not be done promplty since these signs are pretty significant for pregnant woman and should be carefully inspected. This can always be sign of something serious but in most cases there is leeding from uterus and vaginal wall,not from baby and its sheaths. HCG is good sign but should be carefully followed.
