What Causes Heavy Bruising And Lump Formation In Injection Site?

hi i had a blood test done at the hospital on wednesday it was a bit sore when the needle went in , a bruise started to apear on thursday and a hard lump where the needle went in. Today i noticed the bruise had spread further down my arm , i have had blood tests before but never been as bruised as this. Do you think i should go to see my gp ? thankyou D.Burnett.

I can understand your concern

don't worry .bruising after the drawn blood due to leakage of blood content into surrounding tissue which appears as red and lump .
but as it spread to lower part we need to focus .
I would like suggest check the platelet count from the drawn blood sample
if it is less than normal you need mangament or treatment

I would like to ask you weather you are using any anticoagulant medication or not ,,plz mention ..

just apply thrombophob at injection site and bruised area . .I hope it will gradually fade away in 2 or three days

consult you family doctor if results are abnormal .. or HCM
DONT WORRY TAKE FRUITS MUCH .. OK
