What Causes Heavy Clotted Bleeding And Left-sided Pain In Lower Abdominal Area?
Hi I have been getting heavy clotted bleeding for the past few weeks with pain in my left side and lower abdominal area. A ultrasound scan showed no trace of my iud but showed an hazy image elsewhere within my uterus. I am waiting a more detailed scan but the pain is getting unbearable and I feel weak.

I really appreciate your concern, if the scanning being done in bleeding phase then detection of IUD would not be possible and you need to get done the test when no bleeding is there, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
