What Causes Heavy Feeling In Corner Of Eye After A Retina Tear Surgery?

My mother had retina tear in her right eye, and she had it fixed through surgery three years ago. Last week her right eye feels heavy at the corner, but not incrased floater or bright light. Her eye feels uncortable. Should we be concerned about this?

Hello
It seems from the history that your mother has underwent retinal tear surgery and she is having onset of floaters.
Floaters indicate problems involving the vitreous and retina and since your mother already had a history of retinal tear, this requires evaluation to find out the underlying cause by performing indirect ophthalmoscopy by your ophthalmologist and treatment accordingly.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
