General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

PCOS can respond to treatment in many women and conception can occur. There are medications that can be used to decrease the bleeding if it continues heavily for a long period (eg norethisterone) but its temporary use would cause a short term decrease infertility.

Weight loss of any excess weight can also improve chances of conception. There are medications such as Clomid that help to release 'eggs' from the ovary.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
