What Causes Heavy Menstrual Bleeding After Insertion Of A Copper IUD?

I had copper coil fitted on Thursday nurse told me to feel for the threds next day but I couldn t so went back Friday she examined me and said they were ther my cervix is tilted so probably won t be able to feel them on Saturday I started my period and it s been quiet heavy so I felt today for them and I can really feel the thred shall j go get checked here is no hard but above the threds

Hi I think thefe is no need for a checkup if ypu are feeling the threads of copper IUD. It is a normal thing to feel the thread. Hope it helps.
