What Causes Heavy Menstrual Bleeding After Tubal Ligation?
At what point is excessive menstrual bleeding a concern? I am a 48 year female, have had a tubal ligation 28 years ago. I generally have regular menstrual cycles and bleeding for 4-6 days. I began bleeding at the end of January, thought it was my normal period for February just a little early. Went through period as normal; however did not stop bleeding. Bleeding was much less significant than normal, but required constant use of a tampon. About now would be my normal period, I am bleeding excessively....Going through a super tampon and a maxi pad about every 2 hours. I have attempted to reach to physician to get in multiple times with no success so figured I would try this as I wait. Thank you for any insight you can offer me.
As you have continuous bleeding throughout the month, so it's not good. You have to take urgent action. As it may cause giddiness, fatigue, weakness. You can take tablet pause. Along with that, you can take tablet Primolut N after consultation. You can do an ultrasound abdomen and pelvis to find out any cause of bleeding. Drink plenty of fluids. Take proper rest. I will suggest you review here with detailed history or consult with a gynecologist with reports.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
