What Causes Heavy Menstrual Bleeding Post A Depo-Provera Shot?
Hello docs, I went on the depo shot 2 months ago and both months I have had a period it s not as heavy or red as my regular period before getting the shot, it s dark brown and pasty and I used to have my regular periods for an average of 3 days, not Ive had this period for 5 days and doesn t seem like it s going to end soon. What could have caused this? And is it normal? Should I be worry?

I really appreciate your concern, it is not normal one but it happens due to hormone changes although it is the dysfunctional kind of bleeding and it may not cause any ill effect on health it may be due to age also it is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
