What Causes Heavy Menstrual Bleeding?

I am suffering from excessive bleeding during menstrual periods. Size of uterus is larger than normal and no other issue found in USG. My doc prescribed sebisa 60 mg thrice a week for 3 months to control the bleeding. She said it may cause pre menopausal symptoms and you may not have periods for the coming months. I am taking it since last two months. Last month my period just ended within 2 days, this month again having heavy bleeding for more than two days. I have not missed a single dose. Is it normal ?? Should I take any other medicine like trenera to reduce the bleeding ?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I would explain that your symptoms could be related to hormonal imbalances. This is normal fluctuations.

Anyway, if the excessive bleeding persists, I recommend performing an abdominal ultrasound and a complete blood count for anaemia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
