51 yr old female menstral bleeding slows down about 2 days a month other remaining days heavy bleeding and large clots. Been about a year now prior to it was light 3-5 days a month for years. Hypoglycemia levothyroxin 137mcg, ranitine 150mg, citalopram 40mg(20mgx2). I personally think it s not related to my medication. I m very weak, dizzy, upset stomach(nauseous), cramps, shaky feeling.
Hi and thank you so much for this follow up precision.
I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. Do you mean you bleed constantly through out the month but for 2days or do you bleed just for 2days monthly? Seen the fact that this has been going on for a year and you seem not to have an idea on what the cause is and the possible solution, I will suggest that you get fully evaluated by your OBGYN. At 51, menopause could be a big contributing factor but then we need to get all the facts clear before settling on what the exact cause and possible solution is.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information should need be.
