What Causes Heavy Period After 3 Months?

I haven t had a period for 3 months until 9 days again when i started a period. Its gone from heavy to light to heavy again and bright red to brown to bright red again. I ve also been seeing what looks like bits of skin on my tampons. Is this all normal??

See , the symptoms that you are suffering from point towards the diagnosis of PCOD. However you have not mentioned your age (it is usually seen in teenage and young adult girls). And to confirm PCOD , USG should be done.
So, i would advice you to get USG abdomen done and consult a gynecologist.
