What Causes Heavy Periods And Back Pain While Having Gonorrhea And Chlamydia?
I just got tested positive for gonorrhea and chlamydia and I went to the ER Friday and they prescribe me 4 pink antibiotic pills I had to take and got a shot in my left cheek butt its been 4 days since the treatment now I have another problem going on my period has been on for two whole months I use to have lower back pain but not anymore now I just have heavy bleeding and huge bloodclots
As per my clinical experience, the gonorrhea and chlamydia is not directly related to heavy menses though, they can boost the underlying pathology show up in various clinical cases. There can be various issues for menorrhagia as: - Uncontrolled blood pressure - Use of blood thinners - Adenomyosis - Uterine fibroids - Ovarian tumors or cysts secreting estrogen - Simultaneous use of certain medications - Bleeding disorders as anti-phospholipid syndrome, Von Willibrand disease or others - Hemophilia
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
