General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Heavy sensation in the abdomen is commonly due to indigestion, gastritis, loss of appetite is also a side effect of Dytor 10 MG. Report to your treating physician, so that the medicine can be replaced by another that suits him better.

Get your father have CBC, urinalysis & Liver function tests done to rule out any metabolic disorders. He may require to have some Imaging tests done also.

In the meantime, you can give him antacids, PPI's - Pantoprazole 40 & Syp Aristozyme to help the food get digested easily.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care. All the best.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
