What Causes Heavy Sweating And Chills While On Subutex?
ive been takin subutex for about three weeks. 12 mg was the dose that made me feel normal and no longer in WDs. but today I am starting to get sweaty and the chills at time just not quite how I have been feeling. I don t really want to go up I thought once u found ur dose u stayed there. I am wondering if usualy on subutex is it normal to NEED to up your dose even though 12 has been great for the past few weeks?
Unsupervised administration of Subutex is not recommended. Proper administration technique should be demonstrated to the patient. Follow up clinical examination & periodic assessment in the frequent follow up visits is a must.
Provision of multiple refills is not advised early in treatment or without appropriate patient follow-up visits.
Since you are experiencing heavy sweating & chills you are suggested to visit ER urgently as you are experiencing either the adverse effects of Subutex or opiod withdrawal symptoms.
Get clinically examined & treated before your symptoms get worse(agitation, muscle stiffness, hallucination, fast heart rate, etc).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K.
