What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Norethisterone?

Hi there, I just stopped taking norethisterone ( wad taking it due to a extremely heavy bleeding - first period after having a baby) day before yesterday and I just started to bleed again with big blood clot, so fat is just a light flow but shall I expect a heavy period ?

Norethisterone is a drug that may be used for a wide variety of gynecological problems including excessive menstrual bleeding.Heavy bleeding on day 1 and 2 of your menses may be normal even after taking norethisterone.However, if bleeing becomes too exaggerated or prolonged, you see your Gynecologist for evaluation.
