What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding In Pregnancy?
Hello, Would really appreciate some input here I m confused. On Thursday I was working out (running) and experienced some bad cramps. Later that evening I had some lower back, not to long after that it felt like I started my period but pretty heavy I lolled in the toilet cause I was shocked on how much blood came out. I thought I saw something within the blood. So the next day there was no more blood. I bought a pregnancy test and it showed positive. So today I brown discharge, and also seen some stuff in the toilet. Is this a miscarriage? Or is it Normal?

hi,upt can also give false positive results due to presence of blood mixed with urine.the best way to rule out pregnancy would to take a serum hcg test done.if value is below 5 iu it rules out pregnancy and indicates that you just got a normal period.if values are above it could mean you were pregnant and had abortion or you have threatened abortion where the pregnancy is still viable but the risk for miscarriage is increased.all the best take care.

hi upt can be falsely positive with blood mixed in urine so it's unreliable at this stage. either wait for the bleeding to stop and repeat a upt or you could take a serum b hcg, if b hcg levels more than 5 units it's a miscarriage if less than 5 units it is a normal period. take care all the best.
