What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding While On Nexplanon Implant?
Hi! I had the Nexplanon implant put in at the end of October of last year. Since then I have been bleeding with 2 breaks of a week each. It has reached a point of passing big blood clots and bleeding heavy enough to soak a tampon every hour. Will this subside in time or should I have it removed? Thank you!

I don't think this a cause to remove the Nexplanon. Irregular bleeding, spotting together with absence of period are common while in Nexplanon. I believe the bleeding and spotting may subside gradually.
