What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding Wile On Primolut?

Have been pv bleeding since June 17th. Some days are extremely heavy other days are light. The most days ive had since june where i havent bled was 5 days in a row. I am taking Primolut and phasing my body off the dosage as reccommended by my dr but the bleeding is coming back heavier. Ultrasound is good, all swabs are clear, bloods seem clear. I am tired emotionally in ruins and need help. A doctor advised today that i can go to a hospital and ask for a DNC. Is this something i can do? Just walk into emergency and request one? I have been to the hospital several times since June. Please help!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should not go to the ER for it. A gynecologist can do the D & C procedure.
The results of all the tests you did are needed to evaluate the overall situation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
