I have had heavy bleeding 60 days and after ultrasound found a polyp Had a d and c Hysteroscopy July No cycle for 90 days and then severe bleeding The pathology report said polycyclic tissue and inactive endometrium They have me On progesterone again to control bleeding What is exactly in active Am I periopausal or post Age 45 May need ablation they said Help
The only real problem in you is the polyp they found and got surgery for that. It's true that hormonal changes due to polyp is also causing polycystic issues too.
So, to me you are perimenopausal at your age 45. However, we should not underestimate the benign problems you are having with polyp, inactive endometrium and polycystic ovaries. Should get treated for that regularly. Keep in close contact with gynecologist, and try to be patient. Primrose oil can help reduce hot flashes and hormonal imbalance.
