Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been on the mirena for 3 years now and have never had a period after getting it put in. My boyfriend and I were messing around two days ago and I played with myself for about a hour then about 5 more minutes he fingered me, I had a orgasim and he took his fingers out and I felt a gush of liquid, I thought it was just my juices until I heard him gasp and I looked up and saw his hand covered in blood, blood was all over my thighs and on a towel that I was laying on. I am still bleeding two days later and there has been times that I gots to the bathroom and wipe and several very little clots are in the toilet paper. I have checked to see if my mirera is still there and I can feel the string, he doesn t have long nails and neither do I so I don t know if he could have tore something. Like I said I haven t bled for 3 whole years so this is very odd to me
