What Causes Heavy Vaginal Discharge During The Night After Hysterectomy?

I had a LVH done on Aug 25 with removal of everything including ovaries. I have been on antibiotics and hormones my release from the hospital. They have since added Flagyl due to BV. Could I b allergic to stitches or could it be hormone on balance? Have heavy discharge at night after taking hormone and is light during the day.

The discharge may be normal due to wound healing or maybe there is a vaginal infection.
Do a vaginal secretion smear to be checked for infection.
