General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, Thanks for the query. I understand your concern. You had already taken single dose therapy for chlamydia infection... which usually helps. The yellow copious vaginal discharge after the medicines.. suggest.. a secondary infection probably caused hy high dose of antibiotic ... which had damaged normal vaginal flora to give chance for fungi/bacteria that recide in the body. Vaginal swab woulde assess the cure of Chlamydia...&also the organisms causing present complaint. Use candid vaginal pessaries at night...keep good genital hygiene .If there is no relief..consult a gynecilogist. Thanks.
