What Causes Herpes Eye Infection?

My husband started off with a herpes eye infection, next, he had a baterial infection, today we find out it is ecoli. He is on 3 types of eye drops (vigamox, zirgan, and erythromycin). He is seeing the doctor 7 days a week. How do you get this type infection? What else can be done?

This is a unusual infection for eye. Post viral immunity of your hus band is low. E coli is generally gain resistant to anti biotic. If possible do a culture and sesiti vity test take the recommended anti biotic. It will be time taking.
