Dear caring boyfriend
Herpes simplex is caused by virus and mostly spreads by sexual exposure but there are other route of transmission. You will get infection if you are having unprotected sex with her. It is treatable condition and you both should consult expert skin specialist and complete drug treatment. Commonly prescribed drug is acyclovir. So do not be in panic and get yourself treated. All the best.
