What Causes High BP And Dizziness With History Of Having Blood Clot In Right Ventricle?

male 78 yrs old, had been admitted to A@E with high B/P 210/105 and dizziness and nausea yesterday. He has had a blood clot Dec 2014 in right ventricle STEMI thrombolysed He is hypertensive on B/P meds has had left side hemaphylia 14yrs ago has had cholecystectomy, renal calculi, and gastric ulcers. He was not found to have had a heart attack. Question is why would his b/p go up so quickly and should his dr be looking for other causes. Thank you

You need to get investigations like lipid profile,ECG,Echo,carotid Doppler and renal Doppler to get the primary cause of hypertension and to know cardiovascular status.
