What Causes High BP And Heart Rate While Having Hyperthyroidism?

HOW serious is a woman who has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, who has had symtoms for 3 months, ,she went to G.P. and is supposed to get an ultrasound & than go to Endocronologist , and forgets to call & remind them to set up appts for both. when she went to G.P., her BP was very high, also heart rate, and she has lost 10 # and eats constantly, is shaky, sweats a lot, her knees get weak, and her strength in her arms is leaving her.

Typically, what symptoms you have described fits in to the features of 'hyperthyroidism'. She needs to be evaluated by getting her thyroid profile test done and consult Endocrinologist at the earliest for evaluation and management.
