What Causes High BP, Headache And Bump Above Right Eyebrow?
my father has had a headache for several days now. He went to the ER and found out that his BP was sky high. They put him on BP meds two days ago. However, he still has the headache and today he woke up with a bump above his right eyebrow. What could this mean? My mother thinks its shingles??
Hello and welcome to HCM, High blood pressure is often accompanied by tension headache. Lowering and control of blood pressure will help to control the headache also. The bump over the eye-brow is probably not associated with shingles. Shingles is characterized by multiple vesicles which are painful and may be associated with tingling sensation. The bum can occur due to trauma to the eye-brow region. I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and thus management. In the meanwhile you can take pain killer for pain if associated with pain. The headache will get relieved as the blood pressure is controlled.
