Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. The problem you had is most likely gestational hypertension. It can come anytime in pregnancy till some days to months after child birth and then it normalizes. A regular BP checking is advised in such case and if high medications should be taken. Usually medications which last short time like nifedipine is given. When BP normalizes it can be stopped also.
