Pathologist and Microbiologist, Dr. Jyothi B L's Response
Hi, HbA1C and glucose is mildly elevated indicating impaired glucose control. It is usually the early phase, before development of diabetes mellitus. Life style modifications like exercise, weight control and reduced carbohydrate intake can reduce the possibility of further developing diabetes mellitus. ESR indicates some amount of inflammation. Since blood is present in urine, there might be an associated urinary tract inflammation secondary to stone, tumor or infection which could have raised the ESR. Get an ultrasound of the abdomen done to rule out any pathology. Hope this helps. Any further query, happy to help again.
