Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a high white blood cell count, 22,000. No fever. No chills. I ve been treated with Rocephin and Levaquin. I am responding favorably however they cannot locate the source of the infection. This is the second bout I ve had in 3 weeks. First time was way worse with difficulty breathing and 101 fever. I ve also had gallbladder removed in Sept along with an ERCP in Dec. Extensive diagnostic exams which come back normal.
