What Causes High Basophils Count?
Hello blood test and stool sample done tested positive for h. Pylori starch granules present and Charcot lay-den crystals present. All other stool either nil or no parasites. Blood test shows slight low basophils absolute where basophils % is very slightly high all other parameters normal

Causes of high basophils are ulcerative colitis,hypothyroidism, urticaria,iron deficiency anemia,viral infections,some neoplastic conditions chronic myeloid leukemia,primary myelofibrosis,policythemia vera,throbocythemia etc.
