Hello,
You develop
high blood pressure after workouts. Exercises increase blood pressure, but the effects are typically temporary. Your blood pressure should gradually return to normal after you finish doing workouts. The quicker your blood pressure returns to its resting level, the healthier you are. You are suggested to monitor blood pressure before, during, and after your workout.
Always stop workouts gradually. If
overweight you are suggested to lose weight by exercises, walking and diet control to help blood pressure stay normal. Control your blood
glucose level. Warm up before exercising. Give yourself time to cool down after workouts. Cool down period are important for people with high blood pressure.
It helps you to slowly return to your pre-exercise
heart rate and blood pressure. If you are experiencing dramatic spikes in blood pressure you should get clinically examined by a GP. Get all cardiac function tests, imaging tests and investigations done. You will be treated accordingly. Stay away from addictions if any.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
