Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes High Blood Pressure Along With Dizziness?
I am currently on medication for high blood pressure. Almost overnight my blood pressure has gotten quite high and then it goes quite low. I am experiencing a lot of light headedness and thus dizziness. What do you think would cause this? Should I consult my dr. or see if it goes back to normal?
Your symptoms seem to be related to high blood pressure. I suggest you o do regular measurements of the blood pressure. I also suggest consulting a cardiologist for an alternative medication. I recommend avoiding salt in the diet.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
