I have a friend that is experiencing high blood pressure. He is 81 years old but in relatively good shape. He has recently lost 25 pounds so his weight is down. He eats very well, however he can t seem to get his blood pressure under control. His doctor increased his blood pressure medication which doesn t seem to be helping. What else can be the cause of his escalated blood pressure.
decreasing salt in the diet and going for a walk for 30 to 45 mins can be helpful. in his case old age leading to stiffness of arteries is a cause of high BP.
