Hi,

I am sorry for the situation your father is in.

Having high blood sugar levels is indicating that:
- he must do some changes in his diet and lifestyle regimen
- his current medications are not working to keep his blood sugar (bs) within acceptable level. Thus, he should be checked by a diabetologist/endocrinologist to change (increase) actual dose or to add other medications. Insulin is to be considered together with other newer oral hypoglycemiants.

High blood pressure is also related to persistent high bs levels. Headache he is feeling due to spikes in blood pressure. Once his bs will be stabilized within acceptable level, his blood pressure will be stabilized too and he won't have headaches.

Hope it helped!
