General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the raised body temperature can be related to underlying inflammation from cytokine release from injury episode most likely. However, as there is history of hard impact of injury, there can be possible hematoma formation over scalp and that requires precise care to cure before it gets infected.

Following measures will help you:
- Local application of ice over any swollen area prominent over the scalp
- Prescription of necessary antibiotic as Amoxycillin with Clavulanic acid or others for hematoma resolution
- anti-pyretic like Acetaminophen as per the fever intensity measured on thermometer

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
