Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 41 year old male. I exercise 3-4 days a week and a do a lot of long distance running and weigh training. I eat a whole wheat cholesterol free bagel and peanut butter for breakfast, fruit and a small sandwhich for lunch and a modest dinner - some bad, but nothing too extreme. I just had my cholesterol checked and the total was 241 with 164 bad. Can this be hereditary? what are my options?
