I am going through perimenopause and recently had a physical. I am having periods that are heavy at times but also light but hang on for a few weeks. (spotting etc.) My lab workup came out great but my estrogen level was 557 along with my Fsh 18.2. I had an ultrasound last year to just look at things because of my crazy bleeding and because I had developed low iron. This is the first time that my hormones had been checked. I am worried because my estrogen is too high. I have an ultrasound again tomorrow. What are your thoughts. I am in great physical condition and all other labs came back great.
