What Causes High Fever Along With Diarrhea?
My husband 61 yr old has 102 fever and diarrhea since this afternoon..he s in good health other than 150 cholesterol he went on statin and has had terrible body aches so came off about a month ago..only on them two months.actually limping still from it.we ate salmon at longhorns today not throughly cooked? Otherwise he s 172 lbs 6 ft works out good eater,weekend drinker and cigar smoker. Thank you debbie

Hello,
The symptoms seem to be related to a gastro-intestinal infection. I suggest you to use anti fever medication such as Acetaminophen three tablets a day. I would also suggest using over the counter option for the diarrhea such as Imodium daily. Take probiotics and drink a lot of fluids.
