What Causes High Fever Along With Throat Pain And Rashes On The Tongue?

Good morning, my nephew has been having temperature ranging between 100-103 F for the last 7 days. Blood tests were negative for typhoid & dengue and hence the doctor diagnosed it to be viral fever. Has been taking Cefolac 200 twice daily & Zerodol p thrice a day. A to Z and Pan D too are there to support. However, the fever has not fully gone and he has severe throat pain as well as rashes in toungue. Anything wrong ?

Hello,

It may be due to upper respiratory tract infection.

For further assessment you may require complete hemogram, throat swab, chest X Ray after physician consultation.

You may require antibiotics after consultation.

Take hygienic food and water. Maintain proper hygiene.
