What Causes High Fever Along With Tiredness In A Child?

4yr old has a temp of 103 since last night ..giving her childrens ibuprofen,cold rags on for head and a cool bath...seems tired and whiny just wants to lay down and sleep. Ex wife who is a nurse said that was high and should get her to the ER...help

I really appreciate your concern, this could be hyper pyrexia and it need to be taken seriously such high grade fever happens in case of some bad and severe infection septicemia may be the cause, in my opinion better to go to ER, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
