My grand daughter is currently at the hospital now, just try to see what she might have. She had a high fever on Tuesday night and was given tylenal. She is 7 years old. Fever came back the next day. later that night was taken for checkup and they tested for strep and in was negative. She stopped eating and drinking Now she is vomiting and delutional.

Hi, Thanks for the query. High grade fever can be essentially due to some infection. She needs an array of investigatuons like widal test (for typhoid ¶typhoid),/cbc to detect proof infection... sputum culture &sensitivity for respiratory infectio/urine routine µscopic test &culture &sensitivity test or any infected wound she has.. teeth caries,/blood p.s. for m.p. She should be started with suitable antibiotic with a expert pediatritian 's consultation & advise. Thanks.
